Dr. Johnson is known for inventing the Super Soaker water gun and has been recognized for his contributions to green energy technologies and philanthropy. He serves as the President and CEO of the Johnson STEM Activity Center.

Over the past eighteen years, the organization has engaged thousands of students from the Atlanta metropolitan area and across Georgia. It focuses on helping students from Title 1 public schools within its vicinity, aiming to narrow educational inequities by providing access to cutting-edge tools and mentorship.
