Poe Studies Association Your Custom Text Here About Established in 1972 as a 501c3 nonprofit educational organization the Poe Studies Association PSA supports the scholarly and informal exchange of information on the lifeworks times and influence of Edgar Allan Poe. Current members number nearly 250 and include scholars and Poe enthusiasts from the United States Canada Asia South America and most countries in Europe. Because of Poes influence and reputation as a world author the PSA seeks to foster a sense of community among Poe scholars. To achieve this goal we publish and distribute a journalThe Edgar Allan Poe Revieworganize gatherings of members and friends at meetings of the Modern Language Association MLA and American Literature Association ALAsponsor and cosponsor conferences in the United States and abroad and maintain a listserv that disseminates information on Poerelated events and provides members with a forum for the discussion of Poerelated research.
