Awareness of Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome

Mals Pals

Mals Pals is a United States-based nonprofit organization recognized under the Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). The organization is dedicated to charitable and educational purposes, with a focus on raising awareness and promoting positive social causes, particularly concerning bullying and rare diseases.

Mission and Activities

Mals Pals originated as an initiative to spread awareness about bullying and to foster positivity both inside and outside of classrooms. The organization encourages youth engagement by inviting children to become members through a participatory craft program where they create and send in homemade bracelets. These efforts aim to build a community of support and kindness, symbolized by the official blue bracelets and merchandise distributed by related charitable foundations.

Programs and Membership

One of the signature activities of Mals Pals is its "Blue Out Bullying" campaign, which motivates participants to wear blue wristbands daily as a statement against bullying and as a symbol of kindness. The program offers incentives such as official bracelets and t-shirts from Mallory’s Army Foundation to children who contribute a set number of bracelets, thus actively involving youth in advocacy and support initiatives.

Affiliations and Recognition

Mals Pals operates in collaboration with organizations such as Mallory’s Army Foundation, linking their activities and merchandise distribution to further strengthen community outreach and support for anti-bullying campaigns. The organization is officially registered with EIN 82-3143081 and is recognized for its charitable contributions and educational outreach.

Impact

Through its grassroots approach and community-driven programs, Mals Pals has made strides in raising awareness about bullying and promoting kindness among young people. It exemplifies how nonprofit entities can mobilize youth participation and creative engagement to foster a positive social environment.
