The purpose of the Pike County Historical Society is to arouse public awareness and appreciation of the history of Pike County, Indiana. The primary activities utilized to achieve this goal include collecting, preserving and interpreting objects and artifacts pertaining to Pike County through exhibition, education and research. The Society believes an understanding of the past illuminates the present and gives vision for the future.
