After a couple of days to decompress (aka: nap like a champ and side-eye everyone suspiciously), Eve has finally reunited with her sister Sally—and her favorite animal control officer, Kasey. While she’s still a little nervous (understandable—we’d be too if we suddenly had fans), she’s already soaking up all the love like a sponge. Her journey is just beginning, and we’ve made her a pinky promise—sealed with snacks—that she’ll never be alone again. Welcome to the good life, Eve. A Collarum is a humane ground based capture device used to rapidly throw a cable loop lead over the dog. The dogs will resist the loop just as they would a snappy snare, snare pole or leash upon capture when in flight mode. There is no question that one moment of resistance compared to the imminent dangers that these dogs face at times, unconventional methods are sometimes the right choice. We don’t spend our time documenting everything little thing we do on social media because let’s be honest we are too busy actually rescuing and not making Facebook posts but this rescue was pretty bad ass! 💥 (fb)
