Community-based education in downtown South Bend where the city is one of our classrooms. WE EXIST TO MEET THE DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS OF ADOLESCENTS BY EDUCATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH THE MONTESSORI METHOD IN A MIXED-INCOME, COMMUNITY-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT.

River Montessori High School Where joy fuels success In Fall 2020 River Montessori High School RMHS a first of its kind replicable mixedincome Montessori high school opened its doors in South Bend Indiana. Within River Montessoris joyfilled academic environment where students are accepted and supported for who they are parents can be confident that their student will earn an Indiana Core 40 aligned diploma and have opportunities to engage in meaningful communitybased learning that prepares them for whats next in life whether that is college trade school or something else. Using an innovative hybrid 9th curricular design students coming to RMHS from a nonMontessori background will receive a yearlong introduction to selfdirected learning.
