Shared to The American Legion from the Somers Dept of Veterans Affairs. The Somers Veterans Coffeehouse, Roast Master's Red-Eye Reveille' (R3), is more than just a place to enjoy complimentary Dunkin donuts and beverages. It's a safe and comfortable place to connect with other veterans. You can shoot the breeze, get a few laughs and gain some insightful information from our guest speakers and our Somers Department of Veterans Affairs staff. Meet and prepare to be captivated and fascinated by best-selling author, Vietnam combat veteran Arthur Wiknik Jr. Wiknik served with the 101st Airborne Division during the famous battle of Hamburger Hill; his unit being the first to safely reach the top during the final assault. He is an avid community volunteer and founding father of the Haddam Veterans Museum. He has also made various guest appearances for film and history channels. Talk to us before and after the coffeehouse to set up an appointment to review and take action on your benefits or to follow up on your previous case with us. Yes, our schedule fills up quickly, but we will always make time for you. We'll see you at our August coffeehouse!
