To foster and promote the growth and development of Rugby Football in the United States AC Rugby Foundation AC Rugby Foundation The Winged Foot Rugby Foundation was formed in 2004 by a group of exNYAC Rugby players that wanted to give something back to the sport of Rugby. To date the Foundation has made donations to the NYAC 15s and 7s teams and numerous other rugby organizations. The Winged Foot Rugby Foundation was renamed to the AC Rugby Foundation in 2018 but their goals have remained the same 1 to foster and promote the growth and development of Rugby Football in the United States particularly in the greater New York metropolitan area and to increase awareness of the game of rugby its traditions and its dedication to amateurism and 2 to foster national and international amateur sports competition specifically Rugby Football and to support and develop amateur athletes for that competition. In accordance with its mission to promote amateur rugby the Foundation continues to support rugby organizations teams and players with financial constraints in the greater New York metropolitan area and to provide opportunity in hope that their potential is realized to the fullest.
