WOMEN'S CANCER RESOURCE CENTER
The Women's Cancer Resource Center improves equitable access to cancer information, support and care. We envision a world in which all individuals with cancer receive medical care, education, and supportenabling them to survive, thrive and advocate for the changes needed to achieve a cancer-free society. Whether newly diagnosed, in treatment, in recovery, or facing end-of-life, cancer patients and family members are often crippled by stress, sadness, anxiety, depression, and grief. And yet, as WCRCs client base is 80% low-income and 67% people of color, cancer is just one of the many things with which they are wrestling. The Women's Cancer Resource Center provides critical services like emotional support, wellness education, and systems navigation to local cancer patients in need.
