Meals on Wheels San Diego County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers nutritious meals and moments of human connection to homebound seniors. Empowering seniors and veterans to remain independent by nourishing their bodies, minds, and spirits Meals on Wheels San Diego County's (MOWSDC) mission is to empower seniors and veterans to remain independent by nourishing their bodies, minds, and spirits. Our vision is to drive out senior hunger and MOWSDC provides older adults 60+, caregivers, and disabled veterans with the home delivery of up to two nutritious meals a day at a subsidized price and accompanied by social visits, safety checks, and care navigator support with referrals.
