From the windows of Task Force Antal’s headquarters, the One World Trade Center stands as a daily reminder of both the tragedy of September 11, 2001, and the resilience that carried our nation forward. For Christine Antal, who was in Manhattan 24 years ago today, it is also a symbol of her commitment to honor those lost through purposeful service. For many of our Veteran Volunteers, 9/11 marked the beginning of a lifetime of service.
