Magdalene Omaha provides individualized support for survivors of sex trafficking to achieve freedom from violence, trauma, and addiction. We provide comprehensive long-term residential services through our rent-free sober living house & our housing independence pathway program. Our non-residential services are offered through our New Beginnings Campus. Thanks to a partnership with Douglas County Corrections, we also take the programming we offer through the New Beginnings Campus to incarcerated survivors. We also offer a vibrant workforce development program which includes a job readiness certificate course and job training through our survivor-led small business, Thistle Lights. Additionally, our robust community engagement activities are designed to amplify the survivor voice.

We’re excited to announce that the keynote speaker for our 10/16 graduation is Dorris Walker-Taylor. Dorris is a 2012 graduate of Thistle Farms (the original Magdalene residential program in Nashville) where she continues to serve as Senior Ambassador. She also was an Executive Producer of the documentary, "Thistle," and authored the powerful autobiographical book Hope is Always Real.
