The Earth Foundation

An annual $100,000 environmental sustainability competition open to teenage students everywhere. The Earth Prize is the first environmental prize for young students' ideas from all over the world. A $100,000 prize shared among teenagers, teachers, mentors and schools. We are a supportive ecosystem to accelerate positive change in the world! THE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED ON MARCH 16, 2021. ITS PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT AND FUND YOUTH ENGAGEMENT IN ACTIVITIES AIMED AT ACCELERATING POSITIVE CHANGE TOWARDS ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY.

Our flagship initiatives The Earth Prize and The Earth Foundation Alliance are designed to foster an ecosystem that accelerates positive change toward environmental sustainability. Background The pivotal moment that led to the establishment of The Earth Foundation was witnessing thousands of students rallying during a school strike for climate in 2019. This awakening inspired the creation of our Swiss and US nonprofit organisation.
