We had a special treat at our April 26th tree planting in the Bayview: Community leader Dr. Arelious Walker came out to speak! ⭐ A huge thanks to the 50 volunteers who planted 40+ trees at this community tree planting! 💪💚 Extra appreciation goes to our amazing partners at Figma, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP [Official], and INTERSTICE Architects—we couldn’t do it without your support! 🎉 Major shoutout to our all-star Planting Leaders: Anthony, Bob, Edward, Emily, Jack, Jessica, Nelson, Nicholas, Pete, and Peter—your leadership keeps things moving and roots growing. 🌱 A special welcome to our newest Planting Leaders—Edward, Jack, Jessica, and Nelson—who successfully shadowed our seasoned leaders. You all crushed it! 🌿👏 🌳 Seventeen species were planted on an almost treeless street: blue oak, Brisbane box, California lilac, Chinese pistache, coast live oak, eastern redbud, fern pine, flame tree, fruitless olive, kanooka, little gem magnolia, London plane, primrose, sweet bay, strawberry tree, sweet bay, and trident maple.
