Marin Health Fund
The Marin Health Fund focuses on assuring that public assets and programs reflect the public trust implicit in their forming mission. Our activities target California programs operating under governmental and/or private non-profit, tax-exempt auspices. We currently have two major initiatives. The Public Healthcare Initiative focuses on issues such as hospital closures and conversions, and healthcare rights. The Public Media Initiative was developed to protect and promote the vital role of public media in encouraging public discourse and debate, to educate the public about the important role of public media, and to promote wherever possible democratically-based, local control of public media.
