The Pickford Film Center (PFC) provides a forum and resource for independent cinema, strengthening community through education, dialogue, and the celebration of film.The PFC was formed in 1998 in an effort to reopen a small, struggling independent cinema in Bellingham, WA. Since opening the Pickford Cinema's doors in November 1998, the PFC has broadened its mission to include a variety of programs that utilize film as teaching tool as well as a community strengthening medium.
