Scholarship in Science | First Step Scholarship Foundation

Our mission is to provide scholarship opportunities for qualified African American high school seniors entering college as well as students already enrolled in college. Students must be pursuing a degrees in sciences leading to careers in health-related field, and or service industry. Scholarship will also include the field of engineering. The aim is to enhance greater representation of this subset in the field of health sciences and engineering. The scholarship provides an image that is the true reflection of who they are.

First Step Scholarship founded March 12 2015 and received its nonprofit 501 c 3 status on March 12 2016. It was imperative that the foundations donors be able to deduct all donations as charity hence the filling of the 501 c 3 with a successful outcome. The mission and vision of the foundation is simply to assist our students in realizing their potential and strive to achieve the maximum level of education in the field of sciences since they will be the innovators of the future.
