Earlier this month, the Hungerford family received devastating news: their youngest child, Luke—just three years old—has been diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). ALL is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. It’s fast-moving and aggressive, so Luke’s fight began right away. He’s already received his first two rounds of chemotherapy and has a long and demanding treatment path ahead of him. Despite everything, Luke continues to show incredible strength and resilience. He’s facing each day with a bravery beyond his years, and his family is doing everything they can to stand strong beside him. But a childhood cancer diagnosis does so much more than turn your world upside down emotionally. It also brings hidden costs that add to an already overwhelming reality. There will be missed work, hospital stays, and travel, all on top of the monthly bills that keep coming no matter how much everything else has changed. Thanks to our generous donors, the Daniela Conte Foundation has been able to step in and assist the Hungerford family with their mortgage payment this month.
