Resident's in Action, Inc.'s primary exempt purpose is to serve as a trusted resource and advocate for the community by authentically engaging residents with lived experience, fostering collective support, and working collaboratively to dismantle systems that perpetuate racial inequity. Grounded in the belief that It takes a Village and that Those closest to the problem have the solutions, RiA empowers residents to lead initiatives, advocate for grassroots movements, and take collective action to challenge the status quo. The organization strategically plans and implements resident-led strategies to elevate the community and create positive social change.
