Last Tuesday, we were honored to accept a $25,000 donation from the Kiwanis Club of Rockford to support the creation of a new walking path at our Easterseals Academy Machesney Park campus.✨ This outdoor path will open up a wide range of learning, movement, and wellness opportunities for our students and staff, and it will allow those who have mobility challenges to engage in a broader range of physical fitness activities. Last week, our Teen Family Support Services Team attended an in-service day at NorthPointe Birth Center. NorthPointe gave an informative presentation about their pregnancy, labor and delivery, and women’s health services, and also provided a tour of their welcoming facilities.
