VETSCAPE

Vetscape is a 501(c)3 non-profit that empowers veterans to find their next mission in life. We are an action sports and outdoor adventure-based community that brings veteran athletes together on mission-focused teams. For veterans struggling to adjust to civilian life after returning from combat service, these teams can ignite positive transformation by recreating the structure, training, support, and camaraderie formerly provided by the military. Vetscape's programs offer therapeutic alternatives to destructive high-risk activities––such as drugs, alcohol abuse, and violence––as well as a social and support community for veterans struggling with issues associated with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). Team Vetscape participates in a variety of sporting events across the country, including kiteboarding, skydiving, paddleboard racing, BASE jumping, and endurance races like the World's Toughest Mudder. Our veterans develop new skills, new purpose, and new teammates for life. Our media house, Vetscape Media, showcases Team Vetscape athletes overcoming extreme physical and mental challenges, and documents their personal stories. In doing so, Vetscape aims to inspire other veterans facing similar struggles, and to redefine the public's perception of veterans from one of stigma to one of strength.
