The 1in8 Foundation's mission is to provide awareness, education, and early detection for all types of cancers. We provide educational materials, programs, and funding to community and medical programs associated with the detection and prevention of cancerous illnesses and conditions associated with general health and well being. The 1in 8 Foundation currently provides funding to individuals, organizations, private enterprises, and to the general public; those whose economic conditions prevent them from obtaining those services through normal avenues. They also provide public education and media materials that provide ways for individuals to detect underlying and pre-cancerous conditions that can help in the diagnosis and awareness of cancer.
