Sneakers for Soldiers Inc.

Sneakers for Soldiers is a 501c(3) organization that provides special purpose and properly fitted sneakers to deployed combat troops in Imminent Danger Areas and Combat Zones. In these areas, extreme temperatures, harsh environments, rugged terrain, and daily exercise wreak havoc on Soldiers' sneakers and frequently create the need for a new pair. Exercising in worn out shoes is just as bad as exercising in the wrong shoe, it increases the stress on joints and can cause injuries. Recognizing this need, we have devised a way for each Soldier to choose a sneaker that best fits their needs and feet...because all feet are different. The US Military is in the very early stages of providing sneakers to new recruits however, deployed Soldiers are currently not beneficiaries of this program.
