@HayCoCoa OUR MISSION HayCoCoa organizes to ensure the land and resources that Hayward occupies and controls serves the community equitably. We prioritize collective democratic struggle through community organizing and stewardship in order to dismantle systems of oppression and develop communityowned alternatives. OUR WORK We formed in 2020 during the national uprisings in response to the death of George Floyd and the many others who were killed by police including here in Hayward. During that time we successfully organized for public safety reforms across the City including The creation of a mobile mental health crisis response team the HEART program Securing 350k for 12 community projects across the city Hayward People39s Budget.
