Puget Sound Goat Rescue and Adoption

Puget Sound Goat Rescue and Adoption is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization located in Washington state. The organization focuses on rescuing goats that are unwanted, mistreated, neglected, or abused. Since its inception in 2001, Puget Sound Goat Rescue has rescued over 3,000 goats, with a recent average of more than 300 goats per year.

Mission and Operations

The mission of Puget Sound Goat Rescue and Adoption is to provide a safe haven for goats in need, caring for them until they are ready to be adopted into permanent, loving homes. Alongside goats, they also occasionally rescue other farm animals such as sheep, alpacas, llamas, chickens, and pigs.

The organization is completely volunteer-run, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly toward the care and rehabilitation of the rescued animals. This includes covering costs for feed, bedding, veterinary care, and other necessary supplies.

Supporters can contribute through various methods, including monthly donations via sponsorship or Patreon, which provide ongoing support throughout the year. One-time donations, as well as grants from donor-advised funds, are also accepted.
