Hackathon Jr. a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is a new youth learning competition to encourage children ages 9 - 13 years old to engage in STEM education. Our mission is two-fold:
1) To provide children in underrepresented communities, access, and equity to STEM education, therefore, leveling the playing field.
2) To increase the emotional intelligence of the children who are immersed in technology through collaboration and critical thinking. Encouraging the real-world application of technical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
