MI-Ramp

"MI-RAMP is committed to providing effective strategies for the development, dissemination and application of mathematical and literary knowledge. This will serve as foundation for life-long learning and critical thinking. Thus, producing literate citizens who are engaged participants of a forward moving society." These goals will be addressed by MI-RAMP and supporters, primarily, via a unique, free, distance-learning, 3-person (student/teacher/parent) progam which stesses fundamentals in math, reading and critical thinking. Our target group is children, ages 4-12, primarily from at-risk families and communities. As a remote program, we anticipate that it can be replicated/duplicated across the country to serve countless children, not just those in MI.
