The Harris County Hospital District Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that raises funds and public support through public-private partnerships for Harris Health System’s programs and services that go beyond the narrow scope of tax-assisted care for low-income, indigent individuals that are uninsured or underinsured. The Harris Health System â€""formerly known as the Harris County Hospital District- is the community-owned healthcare system for Harris County.
