We are a group of individuals volunteering to help preserve, support and strengthen the Carlisle Public Library. Our members consist of enthusiastic library users and supporters who believe in the importance of the library as a social and intellectual center in the community. Friends sponsors special events and raises additional money to purchase a variety of items not funded by the regular library operating budget. The purpose of the Friends of the Library group is not only to provide additional financial support for the library and its programs, but also to create awareness and appreciation for the library within our community.
