Wider Path Home Foundation
Our mission is to support affordable housing through housing education, supporting community developers, and providing down payment assistance. Wider Path Home Foundation is grounded in responding to America's history of restricting access to safe, quality, and affordable land, housing, and other essential sustainable resources for African Americans and those facing a similar plight. Because of this history, our mission is to bring housing industry leaders together to support affordable housing through education, community development, and down payment assistance. We network with the housing industry and other industry partners to fill in needed supports for local community development that advance housing equity, affordability, and stability.

We want to provide an experience built on grace mercy reconciliation home rest and unconditional love. Our Why It may surprise you that racial disparity in homeownership not only still exists but the gap between White and African American homeownership is worse. Today only 43 of African Americans own homes while 72 of White Americans own homes.
