The Huntsville Gem and Mineral Society HGMS is a nonprofit 501c7 educational organization for people interested in the Earth sciences gemology mineralogy geology paleontology lapidary arts and related fields. Our primary purpose is to educate our members and the general public in these areas. We offer interesting programs at our monthly membership meetings exchange rocks minerals and fossils host field trips provide presentations to local school children and organizations and share information about our club at local community events.
