Books to Prisoners believes in the educational, self-empowering, and redemptive values of reading in prison. Our mission is to fulfill the educational and literary needs of prisoners across the United States. We do this firstly by sending them books upon request at no charge; secondly, by challenging restrictions on the receipt of reading materials.
