CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF POLITICAL GRAPHICS
Center for the Study of Political Graphics collects social movement posters and is reclaiming the power of art to educate and inspire people to action. The Center for the Study of Political Graphics (CSPG) is an activist, educational and research archive that collects, preserves, documents and circulates exhibitions of domestic and international political posters related to historical and contemporary movements for social change. CSPG has 90,000 posters dating back to the 19th century, and has the largest collection of post-WWII human rights posters in the USA. For over 25 years, CSPG has toured over 30 exhibitions to more than 300 venues internationally. Through traveling and online exhibitions, publications, public programs, poster making workshops, internships and residencies CSPG is reclaiming the power of art to educate and inspire people to action.
