Jon-Alec Chervin was committed to making the world a better place as a wildland firefighter/EMT and was studying to become an addiction counselor. The Jon-Alec Fund, is a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to supporting the education of young people pursuing careers in Emergency Medical Services, Wildland Firefighting and Addiction Counseling. The fund will provide educational scholarships to students seeking schooling/certification in these fields. We aim to provide opportunities for students with similar convictions and a love and respect for nature to continue the work Jon-Alec so loved. The Jon-Alec Fund began as a way for family and friends to make donations in Jon-Alec’s memory. With your support we hope to continue his proud legacy of helping others.
