Originally established by twelve women in response to an appeal to sew linens for the Cottage Hospital, the Winton Club has evolved significantly over the years. It was named in honor of Winton, the ecclesiastical signature of the Bishop of Winchester, England. Initially, the group's activities included sewing linens, which were discontinued in 1979. However, they continue to contribute to the hospital's linen budget as part of their annual donations.

Activities and Fundraising

Annual Cabaret

Since 1920, the Winton Club has sponsored an annual cabaret event held in late January. This five-night event features a volunteer cast of local residents and hospital personnel, attracting over 2,000 attendees each year. Gift Shop and Other Initiatives
