Haven Homes of Detroit
The mission of Haven Homes of Detroit is to empower women to heal from the trauma of trafficking and exploitation by providing safe housing, creating supportive communities, removing barriers to resources, while equipping them with the skills they need to reclaim their lives and create a brighter future. Our houses turn into homes providing a safe and stable community and accountability so women can focus on their healing journey. Our program which is rent free for 18-24 months offers life-skills training, financial literacy, computer literacy, nutrition education, case management, job readiness training, and group therapy. We develop relationships with community partners to provide sobriety, mental and medical health, trauma therapy support and criminal record expungement.
