Our mission is to make where we live a healthier place for our residents by working hand-in-hand with residents to resolve the negative impacts to the community. We are doing this by protect vulnerable neighborhoods from potential negative and destabilizing impacts of large development projects and improving employment opportunities, education, housing, neighborhood safety, unhealthy environmental conditions, access to healthy foods and more.

Sacramento Investment Without Displacement Welcome Sac Investment Without Displacement is a coalition of social justice organizations neighborhood assn. s labor groups residents community partners organized to support building healthy communities affordable housing preserving cultural traditions the stability of neighborhoods impacted by big developments. SIWD AntiDisplacement principles ANTI DISPLACEMENT PRINCIPLES All new developments in the Sacramento area bring benefits and potential negative impacts to the community. To advance equity significant new developments in our communities must benefit existing residents and eliminate or mitigate any potential harm and displacement.
