Alamo City LX Modern Mopar San Antoniox27s oldest and largest Modern Mopar Enthusiastx27s Community About Us Alamo City LX Modern Mopar came to life in June 2007 through the desires of several area owners to move beyond the virtual realm of forum discussions and into the flesh and fuel world of cars and people. Our name is derived by the rich and colorful history of San Antonio most notably the famous Battle of the Alamo that was part of Texas bid for independence from Mexico and has been known as the Alamo City for many years making our name easy to identify where were from. As for LX it is the original platform the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger and Magnum were built on. With the release of the LC platform in 2008 the decision was made to include the Dodge Challenger.
