Susie Q's Kids was started in honor of Susie McBride. With her illness, she knew the value of a teddy bear, blanket, and coloring book. Our bags provide comfort to kids in hospitals, shelters, foster care, autism centers, advocacy centers, schools, and those grieving the loss of loved ones. The bags are tailored to the needs of the kids, and contain hygiene kits, grief material, or sensory items Our mission is to: Provide comfort, hope, and healing in a comfort bag Advocate for the mental health and well-being of kids.(We are AFSP Community Partner of the Year) Further the missions of the nonprofits who distribute our comfort bags to kids in need in their programs Engage "Kids in Helping Kids" through philanthropy, fundraising, volunteerism, and creating and distributing our comfort bags
