Since 1945 the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra has provided FREE classical music concerts to audiences of all ages, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. The mission of the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra is to providehigh-quality, admission-free concerts from the classical andcontemporary symphony repertoire to Santa Monica and all of Southern California.The Symphony also extends its reach into the community by performing atlocal schools and community arts events, assisting the community inintroducing young people to classical music and enhancing lifelonglearning opportunities by providing enrichment information to adults.All of the Symphony's programming is planned to target amulti-cultural, multi-generational audience.
