Action Alliance for Children
Stand for Children is a unique catalyst for educational success and social progress, to create a brighter future for us all. Founded in 1973 as part of the child care resource and referral movement, Action Alliance for Children provides education and information that helps people improve their direct care for children, contribute to their communities, and advocate for change in public policy. We believe parents, child care providers, and others involved with children?s lives can be a powerful force for improving the lives of children. We work toward a society that is respectful, caring, and inclusive of all children and all families and that makes children?s healthy and joyous development--physical, emotional, social, and cognitive--a top priority.
