SUPPORT OUR SHELTERS
S.O.S. raises money to pay vet bills and purchase food and supplies for shelter ferrets in the US, Canada and other countries. Support Our Shelters (S.O.S) complies a Shelter List which gives the name, address and vet info for ferret shelters across the world, and their status in terms of number of ferrets, unpaid vet bills and current needs. We use this document for our basis to distribute funds.Most the funds S.O.S. raises go into a general pool for period distribution to shelters on our list. Support is provided in the form of payment for shelter veterinary bills, ferret supplies (food), ADV testing, Ferretonin Implants and vaccinations. We also administer donations designated for a specific shelter or specific emergency rescue of large numbers of ferrets.The seven women of Support Our Shelters receive no compensation. We hope that you will join us in making a difference to shelter ferrets.
