HAIGHT ASHBURY FOOD PROGRAM

Haight Ashbury Food Program | A neighborhood response to hunger since 1983

The Haight Ashbury Food Program believes it is not enough to feed people for a day but it is essential to help people feed themselves and others for a lifetime. The mission of the Haight Ashbury Food Program is to support the principle that freedom from hunger is a right not a privilege. We exist to provide food to those in need while fostering a sense of belonging and self worth for all involved. Finally, we are committed to sustaining a program based on compassion, respect and empowerment.
