Washington State Veterinary Medical Association THE MISSION OF THE WASHINGTON STATE VETERINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION IS TO ADVANCE THE CAUSE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THOSE TOUCHED BY IT. THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING FOR THE PROFESSIONAL NEEDS OF VETERINARIANS SO THEY CAN PROVIDE HIGH-QUALITY MEDICINE OF PETS AND FOOD ANIMALS, PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH AND PROTECT THE FOOD SUPPLY. THROUGH OUR WORK OF PROVIDING ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES, MEMBER VETERINARIANS AND VETERINARY STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO FOCUS ON THEIR DEEP COMMITMENT TO THE CARE AND WELL-BEING OF ANIMALS, THEIR OWNERS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
