The Council on Strategic Risks (CSR) is a nonprofit, non-partisan security policy institute devoted to anticipating, analyzing and addressing core systemic risks to security in the 21st century, with special examination of the ways in which these risks intersect and exacerbate one another.

While each focuses on a different set of emerging risks we position ourselves to frequently examine the ways in which these risks intersect and exacerbate one another. Center for Climate and Security Nolan Center on Strategic Weapons Converging Risks Lab Perspectivebased research analysis Explore CSRs portfolios with original research policyfocused analysis and timely commentary Featured Initiative Global Biosecurity Accelerator Biological threats whether from hostilestate activities the misuse of biotechnology or novel zoonotic diseases have multiplied in recent years. Central to the Global Biosecurity Accelerators mission is to accelerate global resilience to the full spectrum of biological threatswhether natural accidental or deliberate.
