The Ocean Park Association is responsible for maintaining and engaging the Ocean Park community. This group is part of what makes Ocean Park so delightful and memorable with the year-round sense of community—a key element of its tradition and the Chauta The Ocean Park Association was founded in 1881 as a Chautauqua summer community, which offers cultural, educational, recreational and spiritual programs for individual and family enrichment. For over 120 years people who live or stay in the 500 cottages/homes have enjoyed quality programs and family events. Today people from all over Southern Maine enjoy the cultural, educational, recreational and spiritual programs offered by the OPA.
