Each Sunny Crest home is structured as a family unit. The house is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Up to ten boys can live in one home.Sunny Crest is a working ranch and each boy will be assigned responsibilities which could involve care and feeding of animals, gardening, recycling, or other day-to-day duties of maintaining the grounds and outside environment on the ranch. An important goal is for each boy to develop a sense of personal responsibility and pride within the well ordered environment of a safe family setting. Experiencing this kind of stable family life creates a strong platform for our program as a whole and helps equip the rancher to become a healthy and productive member of society.
