To help veterans transition back to civilian life more successfully through being with horses. To provide people in recovery from addictions a solid path to staying clean and sober for the long haul through working with and being with horses. To provide them a path to a purposeful, stable and fulfilling life through the principles of good horsemanship. HORSESENSING TEACHES PROFESSIONAL HORSE CARETAKING SKILLS IN A THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT, PROVIDES EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY AND PROMOTES BOTH HUMAN AND EQUINE WELL-BEING. We are a no cost 9 month residential treatment and therapeutic job training and placement program. Residents become certified in their job and then placed in a job on a professional horse farm with which they can support their families and become productive citizens
