Nonprofit bridging science, technology, and advocacy to ensure *any* individual can connect with others, no matter the circumstances. #ThriveWithSocialTies Social Creatures’s mission is to build healthier communities through social connections. By harnessing research that shows that social connections “get under the skin” to benefit our health, physiology, and well-being, we strive to ensure that any individual can socially connect with others, no matter the circumstances. Our programs target and are co-designed with individuals who are most vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness, such as individuals with a disability, older adults, and new parents. We specialize in creating scalable and sustainable social health programs. In operating our programs, we conduct community-engaged research to contribute novel scientific evidence regarding the impacts of social connection on health and longevity.
