Green Driving America is committed to helping drivers make transportation choices in their lives that will benefit themselves and the planet. To achieve this goal, we educate on transportation efficiency and clean transportation, showing the benefits of reductions in CO2 emissions, energy waste, fossil fuel use, air pollution, and money spent on fuel, maintenance, and repairs. The Schools Are Not Drive-Thrus project works with schools to implement measured idle-free campaigns that address the issue of prolonged vehicle idling on school grounds, especially during the dismissal period. The Clean Transportation Path project provides classroom presentations on the benefits of smart driving practices in gas-powered vehicles and of low- to zero-emission vehicles.
